Why is Mosadal foot care better?

by Jakkree Boonbanlu on Jan 08, 2026
Warum ist Mosadal Fußpflege besser?

On average, a person walks between 120,000 and 140,000 km in their lifetime. This is equivalent to three to four times the circumference of the Earth. These facts illustrate the enormous stresses the feet are exposed to. To protect them from injury, the body forms a thick layer of dead skin cells, known as calluses.

How do calluses form?

The main causes of callus formation are pressure and friction. These are primarily caused by shoes that are too tight or ill-fitting. Standing or walking for long periods, as well as sports that put a lot of strain on the feet, can also cause calluses. Other factors include dry skin, obesity, foot deformities, and certain diseases such as diabetes.

Calluses on the feet most frequently form on the heels and balls of the feet, but also on the toes.

Why should calluses be removed?

Although calluses are a natural protective layer, they grow continuously. This causes pain and pressure points. If they become too thick, cracks appear which can not only be very painful but also facilitate the penetration of germs into the lower skin layers. As calluses are coarse-pored, dirt also collects in them, which looks very unsightly.

Disadvantages of mechanical callus removal

Traditional foot care removes calluses using mechanical methods. These include special rasps and callus planers. Some people even use razor blades. However, these methods have several disadvantages:

  • There is a great risk of injury, as a lot of experience is needed to remove only the callus without damaging the underlying skin.

  • The mechanical removal of calluses stimulates their regeneration. A similar effect occurs as if a fire were being fought with gasoline.

  • Many elderly people are no longer so agile and cannot remove calluses themselves. The problem is exacerbated if they live alone.

  • Professional foot care is expensive and time-consuming. Appointments are difficult to get and long distances have to be covered.

Advantages of callus removal with Mosadal

In contrast, the medium-sized company Mosadal takes a different approach to callus removal. Mosadal products do not mechanically remove calluses, but soften them so that they can be scraped off. The product range includes foot creams as well as aids and care products for aftercare. The functional principle of Mosadal is very simple. After applying the cream, it acts for a certain period of time and softens the calluses. The loose skin flakes can then be removed with a blunt instrument, such as a kind of scraper.

Mosadal offers the following advantages:

  • The products are gentler than rasps or planers because they soften the callus so that it can be scraped off instead of cut off.

  • The risk of skin injuries is significantly lower.

  • The use of Mosadal products does not stimulate the regeneration of calluses.

  • Calluses are removed evenly and over a large area.

  • Application is possible both in the foot care practice and at home.

  • Mosadal can also be used by single people with limited mobility.

  • Mosadal products offer a complete program for foot care.

  • Mosadal is also suitable for people with diabetes because it gently removes calluses.

  • The products contain nourishing ingredients that promote the natural function of the skin.

Conclusion

Mosadal offers a gentle and sustainable solution for removing annoying calluses on the feet. The products can be used both at home and in podiatry practices and are also suitable for diabetics and people with limited mobility. Mosadal preparations are gentle on the skin and pose only a minimal risk of skin injury compared to conventional methods such as callus rasps and planers.
